Terms of use & sale
The fine print, kept short

Who we are
Feast on the Planet runs this website and its meal planner. You can reach us at [email protected]. These terms apply to everyone who uses the site; the sections on subscriptions apply when you buy one.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 to create an account. Keep your password to yourself and tell us if someone else uses your account.
- Only add other people to your household with their agreement, and a child only if you are their parent or guardian.
- You can delete your account at any time from the account menu. This deletes your meal plans, household and pantry as described in our privacy policy.
Food, nutrition and allergies
Recipes, nutrition values, EAT-Lancet scores and meal plans are general information to help you cook and eat well. They are not medical or dietary advice. Ask a doctor or dietitian before changing your diet for a medical reason, during pregnancy, or for a child with specific needs.
Allergen lists and forbidden-ingredient checks are read from recipe ingredients. They are a reading aid, not a guarantee: products and recipes vary, so always check the packaging of what you buy.
Free account and paid plan
The free account lets you plan meals by hand, keep favourites and build a shopping list. Some planner features, such as automatic weekly plans, are part of a paid subscription. What each plan includes, its price, currency, billing period and any free trial are shown before you pay.
- Renewal: a subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it.
- Free trial: if a trial is offered, you are only charged when it ends, unless you cancel before then.
- Cancelling: you can cancel at any time from your account. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again.
- Price changes: we tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before it does.
- Shared households: people you invite to your household use the planner through your subscription.
Your right to withdraw
If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can withdraw from a paid subscription within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason, by emailing [email protected]. We refund you within 14 days. If you asked us to give you access straight away, we keep only the part of the price that covers the days you already had access.
Using the site fairly
- Do not misuse the service: no automated scraping, attempts to break security, or content that is unlawful, hateful or someone else's work.
- Recipes, comments and photos you publish stay yours. You allow us to show them on the site for as long as they are published.
- Our recipes, articles, photos and meal plans are protected by copyright. You may cook from them and share links, but not republish them.
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, after telling you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the site available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or free of errors. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live, or our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
Changes and applicable law
When we change these terms, we update the date above, and we tell subscribers by email before a change that affects them takes effect. These terms are governed by Belgian law, without removing the protection you have under the mandatory rules of the country where you live. If you have a complaint, write to us first: most problems are solved quickly.
